Directed by renowned Odissi exponent\u00a0<strong>Dona Ganguly<\/strong>, with choreography by\u00a0<strong>Raghu Nath Das<\/strong>\u00a0and music by\u00a0<strong>Dr. Ananda Gupta<\/strong>, the production left the audience enthralled with its emotive storytelling and exquisite artistry.<\/p>\n<p>Pronam \u2013 a collaborative initiative by\u00a0<strong>Kolkata Police<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>The Bengal \u2013 r<\/strong>egularly curates cultural and social events for senior citizens, fostering joy and community engagement.\u00a0<strong>Esha Dutta<\/strong>, Joint Convener of Pronam project, expressed her gratitude,\u00a0<em>\u201cOur members eagerly await such events, and Diksha Manjari\u2019s\u00a0Shyama<\/em><em>\u00a0was a true gift. As Pronam approaches its 16th anniversary next month, we remain committed to enriching the lives of Kolkata\u2019s elders.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Shyama<\/em>\u00a0marks the latest in Diksha Manjari\u2019s acclaimed series of Tagore dance dramas, following\u00a0<em>Mayer Khela<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Tasher Desh<\/em>.\u00a0<strong>Dona Ganguly<\/strong>\u00a0shared,\u00a0<em>\u201cTagore\u2019s\u00a0Shyama<\/em><em>\u00a0offers rich layers of abhinaya (expression) and creative staging possibilities, making it a deeply fulfilling production.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Legacy of Diksha Manjari: A disciple of Odissi maestro\u00a0<strong>Late Pt. Kelucharan Mahapatra<\/strong>, Dona Ganguly has carved a niche with her distinctive style.
